"National Honor Society recognizes exemplary students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, character, and scholarship in the classroom as well as service in their communities." -Sandra Jessel

The National Honor Society participates in at least one service activity each month including tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club of Pigeon Forge, providing support for the Humane Society, Remote Area Medical, and other causes. We also collect recycling at PFHS.

Membership is by invitation only through a selection process during which teachers evaluate the students who are candidates. Teachers access the students' contributions to our school and community.

Members are awarded white stoles at graduation to mark their exemplary service. Officers receive a medallion to wear at graduation and all members are added to the National Honor Society plaque in the main display case in the school foyer.
