I enjoy my job as assistant principal at Pigeon Forge High School. Our school's motto is "Forging Tomorrow's Leaders Today," and the faculty and administration are committed to accomplishing this goal by having high performance standards in academics, athletics, performing arts, and citizenship.
My educational background includes the following degrees: Doctor of Education, Educational Specialist, and Master of Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Bachelor of Science, from Tennessee Wesleyan College, Athens, Tennessee. I take pride in being a part of the teaching profession. I am totally committed to the students of Pigeon Forge High School. I have a daughter, Shelley, who lives in Knoxville, TN.

I came to Sevier County in the fall of 2004 from Happy Valley High School in Carter County, where I coached and worked as an administrator. While at Gatlinburg-Pittman, I coached girls' Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball, and worked as an administrator. In 2011, I transferred to Pigeon Forge High School to be an administrator. At the end of the year, I chose to retire but chose to stay on at PFHS in a part-time capacity. I have truly enjoyed my years in Sevier County, and I am very thankful to the people I have worked with. Those include Dr. Jack Parton, Susan Carr, Don Best, Curtis Henry, Perry Schrandt, and Ben Clabo.
